Choco Magic: design experience
To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Calia Italia unveils the restyling of its iconic Magic model, originally designed in 1984 by founder Liborio Vincenzo Calia and now reimagined by his son, architect Saverio Calia, the brand’s creative director, under the name Choco Magic.
Choco Magic preserves the distinctive features that made the original Magic a remarkable success, including its captivating ‘70s-inspired design, now refreshed, and its outstanding comfort. Modernized in its lines, Choco Magic stands out for its elegant armrest extending to the floor.
Ensuring maximum comfort, its soft, soap-shaped seat cushions rest on a subtly inclined base. As in the original model, the backrest features a manually adjustable headrest, which lifts effortlessly with a simple movement—without the use of metal mechanisms—for an unparalleled relaxation experience.
