Calia Italia attends EspritMeuble 2022: read about the exclusive Paris fair and the models on display
After the United States, Italy and Serbia, Calia Italia’s journey as a guest company at some of the world’s most prestigious furniture fairs continues and now it is time for Paris with its prestigious EspritMeuble 2022!
Paris Fair: What to know about the 2022 edition of EspritMeuble
Chic and always fashionable, with its unmistakable charm, Paris is the perfect city to showcase the elegance of Calia Italia’s sofas, armchairs and footstools on the world stage. Like the ‘Ville Lumière’, our furniture shares an innovative and ever-changing spirit without renouncing the refinement of the style of the past.
In fact the Matera-based company is among the exhibitors at the prestigious furniture fair in Paris, EspritMeuble, which takes place from 19 to 22 November at Porte de Versailles. Divided into four sections (one dedicated to furnishings, one for bedrooms, one for decoration and one for kitchens) EspritMeuble is an exhibition space of 40 thousand square metres, which in its 2021 edition welcomed over 12 thousand visitors, both French and international, and hosted over 300 exhibitors.

Are you ready to discover which models Calia Italia has chosen for this great Paris furniture fair? On y va!
For this year’s EspritMeuble, the Matera-based company has chosen some of its most innovative models that mostly belong to the brand’s new collections. One of the sofas on display will be Regal_e, a new entry from Calia Italia. Imposing and with soft and with sinuous contours, this model takes us back to the 1970s while maintaining a contemporary twist.
Another new product from Calia Italia featuring at the Paris fair will be ‘Dafne’, a model designed by the pencil of architect and designer Daniele Della Porta.This sofa bed has a modern design and sinuous, rounded lines and is capable of changing appearance without giving in to compromise.
Its name is in fact inspired by the nymph of the same name, who chose to turn herself into a laurel plant rather than give in to unwanted love. ‘Dafne’ will also be joined by ‘Eclettico’, the brand’s classic sofa bed.
Several models of armchairs and small armchairs will also be on display at the fair, including the elegant ‘Drusilla’ from the ‘Gourmandise Collection’, and finally the iconic ‘Jacob’, which is inspired by the classic bergère reading chairs – a charm that looks to the past and is reinterpreted in the
Calia Italia style.
And finally, a surprise! We’re going to introduce a brand new product from Calia Italia called ‘Sommier’. This spacious modular sofa features a strong character and offers a place to live, work, socialise and relax. Equipped with tilting backrests and armrests, the model also transforms into a uniquely comfortable daybed. ‘Sommier’ will be making its debut in Paris and we can’t wait to introduce you to it at the fair!
