Daniele della Porta

Daniele Della Porta, graduates as an architect in Naples under the guide of Professor Filippo Alison. He carries on the studio of his father, Gerardo Della Porta, established in 1973, focusing on architecture and design.
In his architectural projects, he designs bespoke furniture, including the "Incline" table, with which he wins his first design award (Vero Legno Prize, "Young and Design 2007", Milan Furniture Fair).

In 2007, he also founds the artisan design brand Puntolargo, which produces the successful Microcosmo series (sofa, armchair, bed), permanently exhibited at the Tianjin Design Museum in China, and featured in prestigious locations such as the IG&H Offices in Utrecht and the Luxury Hotel-gallery Piazzadispagna9.

In 2015, he introduces Collection 10 at the Milan Furniture Fair, his first internationally acclaimed artistic direction, featuring a series of 10 marble washbasins designed by renowned names. In the same year, he exhibits his first sofa produced by Calia Italia, the Modula.

In the following years, he is involved in artistic direction and design projects for various companies, continuing his activity in the field of architecture.
Five of his works have been selected and published in the ADI Design Index.

His architectural and design works have been published in magazines such as Interni, Domus, Abitare, Living Corriere, Elle Decor, and Area.

He also teaches at the Federico II University of Naples as a contract professor in the Product Design Laboratory.
